What is a good gift for a teacher??? Would u give her a gift card to a spa???

It ismy daughters kindergaten teacher, we love her!!! she is wonderful with children

Gift card to a spa sounds a little extravagant. I am a teacher, and I would be uncomfortable accepting such a gift.
The first advice is great. Get her a gift cert. to a teaching store, or amazon.com.
Or offer to take her out to lunch. As a teacher, I think that is best. It really reminds me that I am appreciated, and I love the chance to get to know the parents of my students more.

Gift cards are appreciated. One to a office supply store is good since alot of teachers spend their own money in the classroom.

Well, that is awfully personal, so I guess it depends on your relationship with her….Why not give her a gift card for two to a night at the movies (popcorn and drinks included)….She is sure to LOVE this….xoxoxoxoxturtelgirl

An apple! j/k a spa is nice. Write a letter to her superiors and praise her for a job well done.

I don’t think you could go wrong in giving her just about anything. You might give her a gift card to a fancy restaurant as that could potentially be a date night for her and her hubby or beau.

Instead, go with an organizer. A gift card to a spa, is a wonderful gift, but is somewhat personal. An organizer on the other hand, is excellent for someone with a hectic schedule, and deals with lots of people. Any teacher worth his or her salt, has to be on top of things, so an organizer, is not only appropriate, but not the least bit intrusive. Unless, you know this teacher personally, I’d stay clear of any thing that has to do with a personal life. Oh, and it’s good to know that there are still good teachers out there. Especially those, who work with our kids.

Speaking from many years experience, ANYTHING that shows your appreciation is going to be received with thanks. I still have notes that I received from parents just saying they felt I did a good job and I’ve been retired for several years now. On a whole, teachers are like the children, they just want a little praise.

Pinkwood is right – a gift to a spa is too personal. I would suggest a gift card to an office supply store, large department store, or a general gift card to a mall if you wish to go the gift card route.

    Good Luck!!!

No. A gift card is too personal. What about a coffee cup? K teachers love cups.
