Spa Resorts for Couples in San Fran, CA?

Looking for a good getaway spa for my husband and I. Every year around June we always go on a trip together alone. It is just a ritual we have because our life is so hectic and we never get to spend quality time "alone" That means away from in laws, family, friends ect. So anyway… We are trying to get pregnant now.. so it would have to be a place for both of us. Wether I am pregnant or not.. and something that is all-inclusive would be nice, but not a "must" Any Ideas?

Oh yeah, I would want it to be quite, but still near the city.. possible by the beach…(are there any pretty clear water beaches?)

Check out the Half Moon Bay Area. If you can afford it, the Ritz there is spectacular, I have been told …

The Russian River empties into the Pacific Ocean near Jenner, and the area has many spas. It’s about a 1 hour drive from San Francisco.

Try heading about 25 miles south of San Francisco on HWY 101. Just north of Half Moon Bay, there is a place called Cypress Inn on Miramar Beach. It is a bed and breakfast and also has a spa. It is very private and quiet. There are jacuzzi tubs and thick down bedding in the suites. Included in the price of suite is a made to order breakfast served either in your room or in the dining room near the lobby. Depending on the room you select, rates can vary any from $140-400+/night. I have stayed in their "Dunes" room on several occassions. You can hear and see the ocean from the room. The room is on the second floor, so even with the windows wide open to enjoy the view, you still have privacy. The beach is just a few hundred feet from the room and is nice to walk on. Its definately worth it.
